The location of the house very good. However, it is very small, the beds are located high so you have to climb stairs which can be a bit dangerous. When we were staying there hot water stopped working and we were not able to fix it. AC also was not working properly, if you stay here in summer be ready because you might be very hot since AC doesnt work efficiently and windows are very small to have fresh air inside. Last but not least, the host is not helpful or friendly person. When we stayed here we had an issue with sending our documents to the host, the host did not show any empty and harrested us with his messages in the middle of the night. He asked for extra money for tourist tax. We paid it before we leave but the host left untruthful comments about us in other platform. Literally lied telling that we did not pay the tax to him.

Very cosy apartment in a fantastic location. Bakery, shops, bars and restaurants all within just few steps, but perfectly quiet at night-time.
The Vatican and other major tourist sites are just a short walk away.
Will definitely book this place again.

I have been to Rome several times already but this has been my best choice as to location so far. Alessandro is a perfect host - very courteous, reliable and a nice person. The apartment may be small but well thought out and cosy. We were four and perfectly comfortable. You get really good value for money. Campo de Fiori location is so great because it rearranges depending on the time of the day - early in the morning perfect for buying great bread, cold cuts, cheese and vegetables and fruit, and in the evening for eating out and then staying for a drink. Actually, it is so good that directly after coming back from Rome I wanted to book the apartment for my next stay in January, but it is alredy almost 100% booked!

It doesn't get any better than Alessandros' boat house. The house is in an amazing location. It comes equip with everything you need. He is an amazing host and would highly recomend this spot. Grazie mille Alessandro!

Alessandro greeted us with his lovely smile, kind suggestions, and perfect apartment. We had a wonderful stay in Rome and this special place was a huge part of it. The location is ideal and we were able to walk everywhere. There were plenty of great restaurants and shops in the Campo d'Fiori area....a great little neighborhood to call home. Alessandro's communication was excellent. He provided us with a great map and showed us where the laundromat and "local" favorites were located. The space was just fine for the four of us. It was cozy but comfortable. I would highly recommend this spot during a stay in Rome. Thank you, Alessandro!!

My husband, brother-in-law and I spent 8 wonderful days at the Bollo over the 2011 holidays. We've been to Rome many times, and this year decided on an apartment rather than hotel. And this apartment was perfect. It is a small, cozy, quiet respite in a busy city. It is close to everything we needed, and having Campo d' Fiori and all it has to offer at the end of the street was a treat. The apartment is close to the Ghetto where we have friends, and an easy walk to Spanish Steps, Piazza Navona, and other venues. We enjoyed having a kitchen available, and even cooked New Year's Even dinner before going out on the town. Alessandro has created a wonderful spot -- and is a wonderful host. He met us at the door, provided recommendations for shopping and eating, and even left a New Year's gift. This Bollo met every expectation!

Quest' appartamento è semplicemente fantastico ! Il luogo è perfetto, presso piazza Campo de' fiori, si può fare le visite dei luoghi più famosi a piedi. E' piccolo però tanto funzionale e carino. Asciugamani, ustensili per la cucina, saponi per la doccia,... non ci mancava niente. Un meraviglioso soggiorno ! PS : Grazie al proprietario per la sua accoglienza. E' molto simpatico.

The apartment is small and due to the inside balconies with a double bed on each side there is no privacy if you share the apartment with two couples. But it is perfect for a family, cosy and quiet. The equipment is okay, but not the best. The location is simply great.

Best location but VERY small- listed as sleeping 4. It worked for us because we were one family but I would not recommend this for 2 couples- no privacy. My husband is 6 feet 3 inches tall and luckily a gentle giant- he couldn't stand up in the bathroom, in the shower or in the sleeping area- good thing he can still crawl into bed! This was my adult sons first time to Europe- they just thought everything was smaller! We had to dress in the living area! Unable to find any english speaking channel on the Satellite television (for us not a big deal but to others?). Kitchen not as well equipped as we would have liked- small glasses, no bowls. No kitchen towels. But--- we had a wonderful time- weather was perfect- we walked everywhere- slept really well because it was so quiet!. Location unbelievable- I would tell any flexible family this is an exceptional deal and made our trip to expensive Rome a little more affordable - Thank you so much!!! Cheryl

I'll put more glasses and bowls in the kitchen, as well as kitchen towels. Concering the satellite, there are some english speaking channels among all the channels.

Great location: close to the nightlife in Campo di Fiori but very quiet at the apartment, centrally located with 10 minute walks to major sites. Very clean and cute. Small but that was expected. Highly Recommended!!

Bel appartement, très bien situé, à 2 minutes de Campo dei Fiori (très jolie piazza), belle promenade piazza Tevere. Principaux attraits facilement accessibles; Fontaine de Trévi, Vatican, Panthéon, Castel sant'Angelo...
