Beautiful, comfortable, quiet, perfectly located, architect-designed, beautifully cared-for apartment at a reasonable price.  I loved it here and would be honored to stay again. The perfect residence in Rome.  The transaction could not have been simpler. Altogether a great experience. Thank you so much

The only reason why we haven't given a 5 star is because the air conditioner in one room didn't work - an issue which came to the fore only the morning when we arrived. The owner tried to get it sorted but couldn't get it repaired in time but she went out of her way to be so hospitable and answered messages so quickly. She helped organise both the driver from the airport and to the rail hub, suggestions of places for dinner, great delicatessans and Mosca's bakery (well worth it on Via Candia).
The place was very clean, well organised and the provisions of breakfast and snacks was greatly appreciated. A reasonably quiet location.

Wonderful location, very reasonably priced and comfortable. Great little rooftop
space with a dumb waiter to move all you food, wine etc up. Small but very adequate kitchen. Back bedroom very quiet. Campo De Fiori does not seem as touristy as most of the other squares and is right next to the Pantheon. You could spend a month in just these two areas feeling like a local and not ever eat at the same resturant twice. Thankful for the month we spent in Rome.

The Pros: The location was excellent. Within walking distance to every major site in the city of Rome. Within walking distance to metro in either direction. Buses close by and Taxi stand on the corner across street. Bakeries, cafes, wine bars, antique stores, clothing stores and Tabachi line the sides of the street and the surrounding area, not to mention Piazza Navona around the corner.. The supermarket is a 4 minute walk to buy groceries. Wine and Deli stores one minute walk. People in the building were nice and helpful. The apartment itself was clean. You had three garbage separations, organic, regular and recycle. They tell you where to put each one. They told me it had a lift to our floor and minimal steps and all that, held true.

The apartment had 1 bedroom with 2 single beds, 1 bedroom with double bed and bathroom, and pullout doublebed in the living room with tv., dinette table for four and kitchen. The kitchen had a working sink, small refrigerator, no freezer. 2 gas burner, 1 microwave, 2 tea kettle, expresso maker, all the dishes, pots silverware needed to cook. The living area had a stand to hang clothes , drawers in the bedroom. It also had a pack and play for a baby. Iron and small board. The one bathroom in the apartment that is in the double bed bedroom, had a magnified mirror, bidet, hair blower and washing machine, small one person shower. Plenty of hooks to dry towels or clothes. They had one air conditioner and 3 fans, only two worked. It was hot so we made good use of those. Every room had windows that faced a courtyard or side street. All windows had bars and locks, including the door and gate leading into this 21 apartment building. So It was safe and many people always walking up and down this famous street..

Cons: The facade of the building could use some power washing. But nothing compared to what was going on inside the building. What we werent told when we booked was that there was construction work going on in the building right outside our apartment door, with scaffolding from the first floor to the roof of the building. It was scarey to see that it looked like our first floor apartment was being held up by metal braces attached to the scaffolding. The workers started work 7:30-8:00 am every morning and that is what we woke up to. They had lifts and ladders being used for pulling up tools and materials ,pulled up with pullies. It was an awful scarey site to see and hear. There were workers in the building that I even questioned to see if it was safe. There were workers digging outside the building with big machines. All this was unnerving.

There were three of us who rented the apartment, Me, my brother and my mom. So naturally we took the three different rooms, giving my 85 yr old mom the room with the one bathroom in it. My brother took the room with the twin beds and i took the sofa bed in the living room. I couldnt find one extra sheet or pillowcase to make the bed. Eventually I took the one sheet from the twin bed to put over the pullout double bed. Of course it didnt fit, but it worked. I took the pillow too with the only other pillow case in the apartment.

I like to watch tv before I fall asleep, So the only two english channels were Aljezeer or Cnbc witch is business and stocks. With all the channels they had with cable, this was it for English.

My biggest complaints were that they only give you one set of towels containing lg, med and small. for each person for the week. The bathroom had shiney, shiney white tile on the floor, that was so slippery when wet,we needed to use towels so none of us would fall coming out of the shower, there were no mats. I decided to wash my towels in the machine they had. Well, nothing is in english, my towels had detergent already on them, I couldnt get the machine to start. I called Enzo and Raffaiella and Enzo came and started the machine. He had to know it would take at least 2 days for these towels to dry. Therefore, you would think they would have provided extra towels for this reason alone. I would never use a towel more than a few days. I used damp towels to dry myself. I mean, how much extra could that have cost to add a few more towels.

Next was, this is big. they give you one roll of toilet paper in the apartment for a one week stay? Absurd. I know it wasnt a hotel, but they could have provided toilet paper for 3 adults for one weeks use. There were no tissures, napkins or paper towels anywhere in the apartment. I didnt understand that.. I couldnt even clean the counter. They had one drop of dish detergent left. , no garbage bags except for the organic bag for food garbage.

There is more than one lock on the door that I was never made of aware of that you use with your key. I am nervous person, I would have liked to have known that. I figured that out on my own.

They should provide Engish along with other language instructions on using the washing machine.

So all in all, to make this a five star apartment rental for Roman Reference and owner, all they would need to do is give you the necessities needed for a one week stay. Extra linens, towels, paper towels, toilet paper, napkins, dish detergent , more english tv stations or a dvd player. A mat for the bathroom shower so no one falls. a kitchen garbage pail to put your garbage. So I think they were a little stingy in this area. Upon our leaving, we did leave toilet paper for the next arrivals.

I would highly recommend this apartment providing the owners provide you with the list of things specified above. Some of those are necessities and go without saying or mentioning. Raffaella and Enzo were a pleasure to work with and I had no problem except for them leaving out the construction work that was going on. We should have been made aware. It was a once in a lifetime week with our mom. Her first time going abroad to her ancestral home in Italy at the age of 85.

Super charming "retro" apartement with a perfect partly shaded terrace (nice when it's 33 degrees). Location is the best, near to everyting. Not much space inside, but who needs that?
Small things to improve the stay:
- Fix the front door lock, it's very hard to handle (lubrication?). Same with terrace lock.
- make sure that all light-bulbs works.
Thank you very much for a wonderful week in rome. Must do this again!!!

The place is situated in the best part of the town and it is very "real" /old-school place. If you want a true experience of living in Rome, this is a place to go. Beautiful terrace, small kitchen and beautiful upstairs with basically two rooms and bathroom. The bathroom is the only setback of this apartment as it is extremely small.

The apartment is in a great location for walking to all sites, a two minute walk to the market / piazza, supermarkets, shops and just far enough away to avoid the noise. The apartment itself is exactly as described / photographed, is a great size, and was great value for the area. If you are looking for a no frills apartment in the perfect location - this is it

We had a wonderful time staying at the Pantheon Apartment in Rome. It was the perfect size for a couple, with space for relaxing upstairs on the roof deck and in the upstairs living areas. There are a lot of steps to the top of this very old building, so thank goodness for the modern, though tiny, elevator! For one or two people, this place is heaven. The central location, just a half block from the Pantheon, was very convenient to all of the sites we wanted to visit. The instructions were clear and everything worked perfectly.

An excellent location and a large apartment with 2 large bedrooms and 2 bathrooms as well as a living room and a kitchen / dining room. Plenty of space for a family of 4 and a very modern washer drier that worked well. The Internet connection was good as well as being portable, so it followed us around Rome. I would not hesitate to recommend this house / maisonette to anyone wanting to be base in the heart of Rome.

Perfect location. Excellent washing machine and the wifi router was excellent as it gave is Internet connection wherever we went. Surrounded by excellent restaurants and shops.

I was very happy with the accommodation and was surprised as to how big it actually was. Thank you

A most beautiful apartment, decorated by the owner, who is a professor for art and design, in a minimalist style. The flat has one double bedroom and a single bedroom, a good sized bathroom, a living room, a study and a great open plan kitchen - TV room which opens up to the best of the place: the large terrace, from where you have a view over the rooftops of Rome to Termini and Santa Maria Maggiore. The terrace has morning sunshine. Beware: the flat is on the 6th floor with no lift - but, how else can you get a view over the roofs of Rome? Highly recommended. The owner is very pleasant and helpful. The flat is well equipped - the decoration minimalist
